Mr RICk BOND - Vascular Surgeon

MBBS FRCS FRACS PhD

Rick Bond is specialist vascular surgeon. He is the current state Director for Vascular surgery in West Australia and the is the Head of Vascular Surgery at both Fiona Stanley and Fremantle hospitals and examiner for the Royal Australian College of surgeons (RACS). Privately, he consults in East Fremantle, Rockingham, and Busselton and operates at St John of God Murdoch, and Waikiki Private Hospital, Rockingham. He also performs minor procedures in his rooms in East Fremantle.

Rick is a dual trained British and Australian vascular and general surgeon with over 30 years of medical experience. He started his training at the Royal Free Hospital in London and completed his consultant training in England in 2004. During this time he attained a PhD from Oxford University for research into the outcomes of carotid surgery. In 2005 he immigrated to Australia and became a citizen. He took the Australian surgical exams and has become a member of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons as well as retaining his membership of the Association of Surgeons of Great Britain.

Rick specialises in all areas of vascular disease. He is experienced with both open surgical techniques and endovascular, minimally invasive therapies. He believes in the importance of maintaining good open surgical skills in addition to embracing and advancing endovascular techniques. His broad experience allows him and his team to provide unbiased advice and excellent treatment tailored to each individual patient.

Mr J. Carsten Ritter Vascular Surgeon

MBBS FEBVS FRACS PhD

Carsten Ritter is a specialist vascular surgeon, who holds a consultant position at both Fiona Stanley and Fremantle Hospital. He is a senior clinical lecturer at the University of Western Australia and continues to publish research articles in international surgical journals. Privately he consults in East Fremantle and operates at St. John of God Subiaco and Hollywood Private Hospitals. Minor procedures can be performed in the East Fremantle rooms.

Carsten has German roots and looks back on many years of Australian and international experience. He has the specialist qualification as both, a general and vascular surgeon in Germany and is a fellow of the European Board of Vascular Surgery as well as the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons.

After graduating from school in the USA and Germany, he studied medicine at Hamburg University in Germany. There he also obtained a doctorate in human genetics. After his completion of training as a general surgeon in Hamburg he moved to the UK, where he specialised in vascular surgery working in Brighton, the University of South Manchester and King's College, London. In 2011 he emigrated to Australia, where he took the Australian surgical exam to gain full recognition.

Carsten treats all aspects of vascular disease, but has a focus on advanced minimally invasive techniques for peripheral vascular and aneurysmal disease.


Mr Anwar Choudhary - Vascular and Endovascular Surgeon

MBChB (Otago), FRACS (Vascular)

Anwar Choudhary is a specialist vascular and endovascular surgeon that grew up and completed his undergraduate medical training in New Zealand. Following this he underwent subspecialty advanced training in a number of high demand vascular surgery centres in Australasia including Perth, Sydney, Auckland, and Wellington.

Anwar currently works as a consultant vascular surgeon at Fiona Stanley and Fremantle Hospitals. His practice includes all aspects of open and endovascular surgery for peripheral arterial disease, carotid artery disease, aortic aneurysm disease, diabetic foot disease, varicose veins, and renal dialysis and vascular access.

DR. FI RONSBERG - dermatology

MBChB, BSc (Hons), MRCGP, Dip Derm, DGM, DFFP, DRCOG, Cert Occ Health

Dr Ronsberg is a Scottish trained doctor.  Prior to studying medicine at the University of Glasgow, she completed a degree in Biomedical Science.  She has worked in hospitals in the UK, Norway, New Zealand and Australia.  She moved to Perth after completing her GP training in Glasgow. She has been a GP in Rockingham for the past 8 years and worked in the Emergency Department of Rockingham General Hospital.

kin cancer excision surgery and dermatology in general has been an interest of hers since working in the Dermatology department of the Western General Hospital in Glasgow.  She regularly attends courses in this field.

She became interested in Dermapen and Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) after attending a conference in Sydney.  She underwent training, bought the equipment and had a treatment, which she believe gave better results than any other beauty procedure she had previously had.

Jade is a senior Registered Nurse and has over 17 years of nursing experience in a variety of clinical specialties with qualifications in perioperative, cosmetic and nursing education.

Jade works with Dr Bond in providing treatments to patients (including sclerotherapy and RFA treatments) and in managing medical conditions. She has special interests in providing cosmetic, and hyperhidrosis treatments.
